MECHLABOR STM-610 (1976) (click image for larger picture)
Made in Hungary, the MECHLABOR STM 610 is a 3 motor, 3 head studio reel to reel analog recorder.
This was the most successful model in a long series of tape recorders. Production started in 1976 at "Mechanikai Laboratórium" in Hungary. The STM 610 was the stereo version of the 600 series, running at 38.1 and 19.05 cm/s - and "standing" with a 75 Kg weight. These tape machines were used at the 1980 Summer Olympics held in Moscow, where 2000 units were ordered.

More than 350 reel tape recorders made by 130 companies from twenty countries are exhibited and, all the machines exhibited are in working condition. See the museum...

This KENWOOD UD-90 "Ultra-Kompaktes HiFi-system" has the following components:
A-722L Receiver with timer and a 2 x 35 W (front channel) + 2 x 18 W (center/Presence) amplifier.
GE-722 Digital Graphic Equalizer with "Acoustic Intelligence and Digital Soundfield Processor"
X-722 Autoreverse Double Cassette recorder with CCRS recording system
DP-722 CD player with 1 Bit D/A converter with 8 times oversampling
LS-722 2 way loudspeaker using 3 speakers
(150 mm woofer, 25 mm tweeter and a 100 mm additional fullrange speaker)
