1001 Hi-Fi - The Stereo Museum is a private collection of vintage audio components, a place where you can enjoy the fantastic world of stereo audio through our monthly vintage audio reviews. This site contains pictures and short descriptions of this fabulous privately owned Hi‐Fi collection, of over 500 units (August 1st. 2010) and close to 1000 in 2018, consisting of CD players, cassette tape recorders, reel to reel recorders, tuners, turntables, amplifiers, systems etc. You can see them by selecting the desired category from the top menu. In our collection you will find everything from battery operated portable record player up to separate pre‐power amplifiers or top of the line cassette recorders. That's exactly what manufacturers built in the golden age of Hi‐Fi, when their real aim was to offer Hi‐Fi for EVERYBODY. All the pictures you see here are original photos of units from the collection. For your Hi‐Fi experience you will also see, a collection of photos from vintage audio advertisements or vintage Hi‐Fi catalogs.
