NEW Tape Recorders for the XXI Century
In 2015 we celebrated 80 years since the World First Tape Recorder was introduced by AEG at the Berlin Radio Fair in 1935. The last new tape recorder model was presented in the early 1980's and they remained in manufacturer brochures until aprox 1990.....but they seem to make a comeback. This new generation of tape recorders seems to be mainly oriented to the growing community of tape enthusiast who use them to playback new tapes created from original master tapes or new recordings created on refurbished classic models of 2 track tape recorders running at 15 ips. These are the currently manufactured reel to reel machines ... in Glorious Stereo.
